Let Us Sing to the Lord and Rejoice
Music is an important aspect of worship at St. John’s under the leadership of music director Halyna Petronak and the St. John’s Choir. Sunday services feature hymns, gospel and classical music. Easter and Christmas worship services include music by musicians and soloists. In the Advent season, the popular Lessons & Carols service features special offerings from the St. John’s choir along with readings from the Old and New Testaments. On Palm Sunday a Choral Passion is performed with Anthems after each reading.
