A PLACE OF  SPIRITUAL GATHERING FOR THE COMMUNITY

Page last Published 12/23/2024
Welcome to St John's Church, Pine Meadow
the 'church with the red doors on the green'

We hold weekly services at 10am on Sundays. Most Sundays of the month we have the Service of Holy Eucharist, but we also embrace the practice of Morning Prayer, following the Book of Common Prayer.
Weekly Compline is held on Facebook on Thursday evenings.

Please feel free to stop in for prayer and contemplation anytime. Our Little Free Pantry is open 24/7 and so is the welcome of God's Love in our church.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid." John 14:27

Collect for Trinity Sunday
A
lmighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

"A Prayer of Thanksgiving: BCP 836"
Accept, O Lord, our thanks and praise for all that you have done for us. We thank you for the splendor of the whole creation, for the beauty of this world, for the wonder of life and for the mystery of love.

We thank you for the blessing of family and friends, and for the loving care which surrounds us on every side. We thank you for setting us at tasks which demand our best efforts, and for leading us to accomplishments which satisfy and delight us. We thank you also for those disappointments and failures that lead us to acknowledge our dependence on you alone.

Above all, we thank you for your Son Jesus Christ; for the truth of his Word and the example of his life; for his steadfast obedience, by which he overcame temptation; for his dying, through which he overcame death; and for his rising to life again, in which we are raised to the life of your kingdom. Grant us the gift of your Spirit, that we may know him and make him known; and through him, at all times and in all places, may give thanks to you in all things. Amen.

Glory to God The Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit

With grateful hearts and thanksgiving! Thank you to the Barden Market and the Barden family for hosting a special food drive on the first weekend of April for us. The weather wasn't great for a sidewalk collection, but they moved it into their store and continued to collect. Thank you so much!
As always, our Little Free Pantry is open 24/7 to help those in need.
