We Confirmed Them!!!
On Sunday, May 8, we confirmed 10 young people and received two adults into the Episcopal Church. It was the first time in about 12 years that we didn't have to go to another church for confirmation. It was a wonderful experience for these young people and for the whole parish
Shopping Cards Help the Budget
All it takes is a little planning. Pay for the cards one Sunday and receive them to use the next Sunday. Every little bit helps.
Salin came to St. John's in 1993. She is originally from Oklahoma and was serving a church in Philadelphia before moving to Connecticut. She and her husband share their home with Bubba, a rescue golden retriever originally from Birmingham, Alabama.
Denise was ordained to the diaconate on September 10, 2011. She will serve St. John's for approximately three years. She and her husband live in Granby. Their home parish is St. John's in South Windsor.
