Welcome to St John's Church, Pine Meadow
the 'church with the red doors on the green'
We hold weekly services at 10am on Sundays. Most Sundays of the month we have the Service of Holy Eucharist, but we also embrace the practice of Morning Prayer, following the Book of Common Prayer.
Weekly Compline is held on Facebook on Thursday evenings.
Please feel free to stop in for prayer and contemplation anytime. Our Little Free Pantry is open 24/7 and so is the welcome of God's Love in our church.

In celebration of the Confession of St Peter, recognized on the 18th of January
"Almighty Father, who inspired Simon Peter, first among the apostles, to confess Jesus as Messiah and Son of the living God: Keep your Church steadfast upon the rock of this faith, so that in unity and peace we may proclaim the one truth and follow the one Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen."
"A Prayer of Thanksgiving: BCP 836"
Accept, O Lord, our thanks and praise for all that you have done for us. We thank you for the splendor of the whole creation, for the beauty of this world, for the wonder of life and for the mystery of love.
We thank you for the blessing of family and friends, and for the loving care which surrounds us on every side. We thank you for setting us at tasks which demand our best efforts, and for leading us to accomplishments which satisfy and delight us. We thank you also for those disappointments and failures that lead us to acknowledge our dependence on you alone.
Above all, we thank you for your Son Jesus Christ; for the truth of his Word and the example of his life; for his steadfast obedience, by which he overcame temptation; for his dying, through which he overcame death; and for his rising to life again, in which we are raised to the life of your kingdom. Grant us the gift of your Spirit, that we may know him and make him known; and through him, at all times and in all places, may give thanks to you in all things. Amen.

The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Psalm 19 |
We had three confirmands and three reaffirmations of faith in May at a Regional Confirmation held at Camp Washington. May they all walk in the sight of God all their days.
O heavenly Father, who hast filled the world with beauty: Open our eyes to behold thy gracious hand in all thy works; that, rejoicing in thy whole creation, we may learn to serve thee with gladness; for the sake of him through whom all things were made, thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Strengthen, O Lord, your servants with your Holy Spirit; empower them for your service; and sustain them all the days of their lives. Amen. Almighty God, look with favor upon those who have now reaffirmed their commitment to follow Christ and to serve in His name. Give them courage, patience, and vision; and strengthen us all in our Christian vocation of witness to the world, and of service to others; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
