Welcome to St John's Church, Pine Meadow
the 'church with the red doors on the green'
In the Case of Inclement Weather! If there is a storm forecast of significant snow or significant ice, we will make the call on whether we will hold a service on Saturday evening. Please check Facebook, WFSB, or the Constant Contact email that will have been sent out in that case.
We hold weekly services at 10am on Sundays. Most Sundays of the month we have the Service of Holy Eucharist, but we also embrace the practice of Morning Prayer, following the Book of Common Prayer.
Weekly Compline is held on Facebook on Thursday evenings.
Please feel free to stop in for prayer and contemplation anytime. Our Little Free Pantry is open 24/7 and so is the welcome of God's Love in our church.

In celebration of the Sixth Sunday after Epiphany
"O God, the strength of all who put their trust in you:
Mercifully accept our prayers; and because in our weakness we can do nothing good without you, give us the help of your grace, that in keeping your commandments we may please you both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen."
"A Prayer of Thanksgiving: BCP 836"
Accept, O Lord, our thanks and praise for all that you have done for us. We thank you for the splendor of the whole creation, for the beauty of this world, for the wonder of life and for the mystery of love.
We thank you for the blessing of family and friends, and for the loving care which surrounds us on every side. We thank you for setting us at tasks which demand our best efforts, and for leading us to accomplishments which satisfy and delight us. We thank you also for those disappointments and failures that lead us to acknowledge our dependence on you alone.
Above all, we thank you for your Son Jesus Christ; for the truth of his Word and the example of his life; for his steadfast obedience, by which he overcame temptation; for his dying, through which he overcame death; and for his rising to life again, in which we are raised to the life of your kingdom. Grant us the gift of your Spirit, that we may know him and make him known; and through him, at all times and in all places, may give thanks to you in all things. Amen.
