Welcome Message from Our Wardens
Friends,
It is our pleasure and privilege to introduce this glimpse into Saint John’s; the Episcopal "Church with the Red Doors"! For some of us Saint John’s is an Episcopal parish in the Anglican tradition, located on the green in Pine Meadow, Connecticut. Saint John’s is a cornerstone of our community built in 1850, with a grace-filled Sanctuary, the pastoral Gill Memorial Garden, and the recently constructed Licia House; the education, choir, and administrative center. Saint John’s is so much more than that! Saint John’s is a community of believers in Jesus Christ. We are committed to sharing the Gospel and participating in God’s work in our community and in our world. We love God, our communities, our fellow parishioners, (especially our kids!), and those who are our companions along the way. Saint John’s is not just a place – Saint John’s is a community of faith! It is our prayer that you will find a home for your faith, a source of inspiration, and a rallying point to participate in God’s Mission through this place and with these people. Together, God is doing through all of us, better things that we can ever imagine or hope. May God continue to bless you and those you love. Nancy Butler and Gordon Ross
