The St. John's Concert Series started in 2019. We have hosted Chorus Angelicus & Gaudeamus, Norfolk Wind Ensemble from the Yale Summer Music School, and the Northwestern Regional School Jazz Bands.
The Jazz Band concerts have been going on for over 20 years. Donations collected at these concerts raise money for the Northwestern Regional School Music Program and for our Little Free Pantry. COVID forced us to cancel our series for 2020 and 2021. We are happy to announce that the series returned in 2022 and 2023 with the Regional Jazz Concert and a performance by Chorus Angelicus & Gaudeamus. And in 2024?! Here we are: November 17th at 4pm. Chorus Angelicus will be back. Details below: |

Chorus Angelicus and Gadeamus returned to St. John’s for a joyful concert Sunday November 12th, 2023 Thanks to all who attended and all who bought bread to support the Little Free Pantry! Thanks to Jeff Linton and the other St. John's parishioners that made this happen. More Information on The Little Free Pantry. |
Charlie the Magician While not music, we have hosted Charlie the Magician since we began the series. It is entertaining for children of all ages. Since Charlie performs in our garden, we were able, with social distancing, to hold the shows during COVID. |
